Integrated Spectral database System of Organic Compounds
  • Database of spectra for 20 000 compounds. The spectra include mass spectrometry, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, ESR, IR and Raman.
NMR Material
  • Online NMR Spectrum Predictor - Dr. Luc Patiny of École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne created a website that allows NMR users to draw/input a chemical structure and predict its 1H, 13C, COSY, and HSQC/HMBC spectra.

  • University of Ottawa NMR Facility Blog - Dr. Glen Facey from the University of Ottawa provides useful tips and explanations on a variety of NMR topics for users

  • Routine NMR Experiments (Topspin) - Dr. Françoise Saurio from Queen's University provides useful instructions on how to setup, acquire and process common 1D and 2D experiments in Topspin.

  • Chemical Shift Database - Prof. Hans J. Reich from the University of Wisconsin has compiled a vast list of 1H, 13C, 19F, 31P and 77Se chemical shifts and couplings.

  • NMR Periodic Table - Dr. Roy Hoffman from the Hebrew University provides NMR information of select NMR active nuclei including external reference samples and chemical shift ranges.

  • NMR Frequency Map - Prof. Alexej Jerschow from New York University provides a user interactive resource for nuclear properties of NMR receptive nuclei

  • Chemical shift list of NMR solvents and trace impurities
EPR Material
  • What is EPR? - The EPR Facility at the University of Texas at Austin has a nice description of the theory behind EPR spectroscopy.
IR Material
  • General Intro to IR Spectroscopy - Prof. William Reusch from Michigan State University nicely describes IR spectroscopy and provides tables of absorption frequencies of common functional groups.
